CCM bids farewell to Isha Strasser as our Managing Director for the past 18 months. We owe such a debt of gratitudcce to Isha for steering CCM through the challenging times of our early stages of growth, and amidst a pandemic to boot. Isha began in March 2020, just days before the world shut down. We were only able to meet in person once before we had to close our new office and operate remotely.
Yet Isha worked tireless behing the scenes to secure CCM’s future. I can’t begin to tally all that Isha accomplished, some highlights include managing over 40 CCM classes and 8 events — all on Zoom; designing and launching our new monthly newsletter; redesigning and updating our website; implementing a new relational database to create online forms, streamline registration and donation process and provide accurate data for financial recordkeeping; and treating every interaction with prospective and ongoing students, madrichim and board members as a sacred opportunity for connection.
Isha continues to be engaged with CCM as a student in a Foundations va’ad taught by Madrichah Elana Eisner, and so will remain part of the CCM community, sharing her unique gifts with us. Join me in wishing Isha success in her new endeavors, and extending much gratitude for her contributions to CCM.
