CCM and Temple Emek Shalom (TES) in Ashland, Oregon are excited to announce the joint presentation of Mussar classes this coming fall 2021. This partnership is an opportunity to grow Mussar through a synagogue-based cohort. TES developed their Mussar community over the past seven years through the leadership of Rabbi Joshua Boettiger. We are now 40 students strong and growing! In addition to serving as Associate Rosh Yeshiva at CCM, Rabbi Joshua has taken a new position as Chaplain of Bard College in New York. TES currently has 4 Madrichim teaching through our Ashland-based synagogue, and our congregation has contributed 2 members to the CCM’s Board: Adie Goldberg as Vice-Chair and Steve Saturen as Member-at-Large. We look forward to an exciting year of building our partnership and expanding Mussar in the world.
